and there is at least one person i know of in the group that can weld and will more than likely know how to piece together the 6 point setup you're looking for

if i am not mistaken i think dd wants you to have those contact alex or john to see what requirements they need or you could go to mineral wells and do it with out a roll cage and have faster entry speeds and more seat time

quan ryan and i are building one right now on thursday u can see it and when we get done ill figure time material and give u a price so fare is fucking bad ass.
ryan and i are doing the bending with a new pipe bender and im doing the welding so fare i think a train would have to hit him for it to break apart even then i dont think it would break. might bend
we are using 1.75 pipe and fish mouthing every cut for a perfect fit. nascar roll cage material!!!!!!!!

indeed, my rollcage is owning face, hopefully well have it most of the way finished by tommorow....you need door bars to tandem at DD if Im not mistaken, contact DD though. If you plan on doing a 4pt y not just go the extra mile and make it 6pt? Having a bumper through your ribcage would suck

i would like one in the RHD coupe as well, How much, I want latchable Door bars tho(yes i know its legal) just have to use the spec'd hardware for the clips. Plus there is another thing i need fabbed up for Rigidity I have pics on it for plans, basically a Y bracket but for front to mid stiffness
/\like that for the cage.

/\like that for the support

considering the car is a shell right now the best thing to do would go FD style and bring pipe from the front of the cage through the firewall and into the strut tower....that would own over those braces

ya but with what powertrain i wanna put in it, there is already considerably less room in the engine bay

look at the picture you posted, youd be going from the back of the strut tower and into the front bar of the roll cage...btw, my 6p is done, it rocks
