oh, btw....A5 on the way aswell as Krinkov front stock(Ak74U frontend) and siterail to tie it all together. Ill probably pick the 30rd mag from proshop for looks and do some research on barrels to fit to it...any sugestions? I need a good quality barrel withouth breakin the bank. Ive heard J&J ceramic work good on A5 from some of the a5og.net guys

j&j's are greta barrels and i've had nothing but good results with'em.

When i wa splaying competively though nothing would beat my Empire Revolver kit. I don't know how much you guys know about paintbore to barrel match but paintballs aren't ALWAYS .68 cal.

it vary's by small incriments but that'll be the difference between a DEAD on shot or a swinger.

But if you do rock a j&j make sure it's a over bored barrel like .689 or .690 somewhere around there, so you won't go through many issues of paint being too big which will cause more breaks with brittler paint.

yo theres plenty of barrels out there but a 16' smartparts barrel is pretty accurate but like i said they also have a new smaller version of a flatline, that has ak stock ill find it again. just let me know what your budget is and well go from there!!

you should specifiy which smart parts barrel you're talking about.

there's the all-american
the progressive
and the freak kit along with a few others if i'm right.

the flatline is NOT good barrel for accuracy. Just because you get distance doesn't mean crap. any spin on the ball will cause it go off flight because a ball spherical and the mass inside will not rotate the same as the shell., inturn unless the paintball was a PERFECT spherical object and there was little to no breeze it would shoot eprfectly straight and go further but life doesn't work that way.

again, invest in a good barrel kit and you'll be happy.

Or like what some of my pro friends(ryan perez from LTZ, a bunch of the Misfits as well) do is use a overbored Dye Ultra-Light barrel. like .693 or something hella big like that. they jus use one barrel and it works jus fine...

but for the money of an ultra-light you can buy a barrel kit. Choose one and you'll probaly be super happy with either.

probably just go .689 w/ this gun and do another one built for speed with barrel kit to match balls n what not....

well i think it'd be a lil bit better to go with a ove rbore like .69 at least so you won't have to dea.l with balls to big for the barrel. I use to use a .688, i mised balls together and some got stuck and decreaed my efficiency by A LOT. again, imo overbore the gun.

then like you said barrel kit or something for a speedball gun.

all in all a tippy is completely different from speed markers.. honestly i would recom the flatline barrel for what and where you play ryan. our guns are made for woodball and scenario play, thats why they are sturdy and heavy compared to others , dont get me wrong ions and egos do rape, fast light and hella acurate, but would you really trust that gun running through trees and brush hoping not to destroy it, too much money to risk... flatline all the way!!! hey you should powdercoat your gun camo... just and idea.. lol

got her in the mail today. shoots fucking dead on w/ the stock barrel. I was standing on the porch shooting the pillars out front and it was doing about a 1ft group depending on the wind. ? though...the gun came turned up more than the one matt has....getting cold really fast as I wasted through a whole hopper in about 2 minutes, turned up too much mabey? I usually conserve shots and play smart but dont want it to freeze if I have to go auto on some bitches.... not ready to invest in diff air system yet....suggestions? prolly turn it down unless it sacrifices performance.

lolz, yea my legs are sore as shit. i should have stretched a bit more because i can barely walk haha. plus that last game sucked because i tried sliding into a bunker at the beginning but i didn't really slide, i kinda just hit the ground and stopped. oh well, like ryan said, 2 weeks for recovery haha.

i got my new 3 way in but haven't had a chance to time it because i ran out of air/co2 >:(
once i get my new ram and LPR on ill be set then i can save up for a nice x7/a5 for rec games so i have a sim gun and a great back up gun.

i do, but i only have one tank and the only place to fill it at thats open that day, closes at 2. when that tank runs out i grab my CO2 and cry a little on the inside since my gun runs a lot better on air

oh and i do run C02 when i run out of air, with that new LPR on my gun, its been firing a bit more consistant on C02 so im gonna play around with it a bit more with air and take it to get chrono'd before we go play since theres a lot of parts i changed or will be changing hopefully later today

2k5 alias intimidator...Used by Joe Woodward of Misfits (a D1 NPPL team). This gun is sekz. has a 127.4 frenzy board, checkit on off, cp shorty reg, and custom delrin trigger. and absolutely rips. On dry fire without paint it reaches up to 21 bps.

i bought this gun at a FRACTION of what it should be going for...i feel happy
