???i was looking over this exhaust i got for my 240.what are the funny looking threaded nipple like things on the header??i have not gone out and looked at the car its cold and dark and im lazy.i was just planning the install and looking at the parts.

pic?? the head has studs on it...not sure what you mean...

no i am assuming it is some smog stuff..it has 2 on the header not the o2 sensor ,they are bigger

gotcha...use the fitting off your old manifold and cut and pinch the line off. follow it around to the manifold and do the same...or, you can just hook it up the way it should be. header is easier to install from the top and that bung your discribing is a pain in the ass to get past the steering shaft...gl

not well......i cannot get the upper smog fitting out of the stock manifold.i soaked it with oil last night and getting ready to go outside and see if i can get it loose.the cat back is in place and i hollowed out the stock cat.now if i can just get the stock manifold out of the car,i can bolt up the header.i have only had the 240 for 2 months i love it...i have been a honda guy for a long time...not sure why?????

if your hooking it back up...continue with the struggle....If not, saw the tube off and work with it in a vice, much easier. leave yourself enough room to pinch the line. If it will NOT come out no matter what Ill weld the hole up for ya on the new header.

dam that was a bitch...yeah i used the sawsall........it sounds good.... i will road test it on the way to work in the morning.i did away with all the smog shit..

alot more power..a little loud on the highway.it idles a little high now??is it because i removed all the smog stuff??stage 1 weight reduction almost that was a bunch of heavy stuff i threw out

it idles fine now,but shakes a little more.i need a swap sr20...
