what to do now?

i just got an offer from some guy to buy my white mx6. he said he has $2500 cash in hand but he didn't exactly say he would buy it for that much. the only problem is i would need to get the blue car running or get another car in the mean time. so the question is, do i swap the struts and springs in the front of the white car back to the blue car and try and sell the white one "as-is" for at least $2000 (which should be a good deal since 4cyl autos got for $1500-2000 and the V6 with 5spd is usually well above that) and see what i can get for that money? if you guys can find me some good looking cars for no more than that much let me know, i have to let this guy know asap.

im pretty much looking at anything RWD. probably won't mod for a while so id like to find a nice clean running car, its just a good way to get out of having 2 FWD cars haha. plus it would be nice to have a little better gas mileage

miata would be nice, ive always wanted one for some odd reason lol. but heres that 240 jason was talking about. the white vinyls or paint stripes have to go for sure.

and im just hoping that he didn't take ALL of the panels out because i still want to have a nice interior since i don't plan on sliding right away.

roger, thats worth looking at. If its in decent shape you can just take it to econo for $200 paint job and you have a baller ride...slap some rims and lowering springs/coilovers(budget permiting) and your done

yea, i want to go look at it, but it might be hard with work and all. If someone else has time to look at it i would be very greatful, but if not ill at least try and get a hold of the guy and try and get more pics.

update:

apparently they guy bought an RX7 the other night so i don't know if he is serious about my car anymore...but on a positive note, this gives me time to fix all the small shit on the car so i can sell it for more a lot easier when it comes time to start up the blue car which is coming along slowly but surely. Just recently ordered wideband O2 gauge from Innovate Motorsports, a new (not fake) Tial wastegate from race clinic, and a turbo just to get it running from ebay, all of which will be going on as soon as i get them in. and i found a set of 440cc injectors i might get in austin which would really put me right where i need to be on this side project.

but ill be RWD someday..... ;)

so i talked to the guy on the phone again, he said he hadn't been able to go pick up the other rx7 that he was going to trade me (he was going to be buying it from a friend then trading it to me + $1000 for my 6). Well short story even shorter, he offered to straight up trade me for the RX7 he just bought as mentioned previously in the thread. Its a sliver, 5spd, with a fresh rebuilt motor. Just needs a new clutch and maybe sparkplugs/wires/fuel filter since it bogs a little
