Drifting In Parking Lot... Arrested For Racing On HIGHWAY????

technically it is a crime not to add insult to injury but it is a crime of reckless driving , could be endangerment , or trespassing theres alot of stuff but the street racing thing is gay , u should call a lawyer in the phone book and ask a general question of if u should get a lawyer and fight it or will they dismiss it if u have a witness

I told you before but to everyone else, my friend got the same charge for the same thing. 30 days in jail OR $1500 fine and 6 months probation. He took the probation. He wasnt racing ANYONE, just sliding by himself and thats what they got him for. Not even on a highway either. He was in an industrial/business area. BULLSHIT! On lighter note of this...everyone gets Drifting is not a crime vinyls!

ya i got 3 tickets for drifting 1.. driving to fast for conitions, there were no conditions nice sunny day pled not guilty. 2..illegal left turn even though i hade my blinker on as i slide from the left lane,left on to the other street in the right lane. 2nd gear plus throttle plus angle = illegal left hand turn? 3.. faliure to change address ,the address that is on my id is my addres but i told him the address that i had been staying at and he gave me that bull shit ticket.FUCK THE PIGS

if uve never approched a company to talk to them on that aspect then i wouldnt think that u would now how to talk to them , sorry but thats not guna do it , i didnt say it was a company still in operation of course i know its guna mess up there palkin lot ive talked with alot of company's just some of them dont want anything to do with drifting thats all but ive found some lots and a stadium juss have to get in touch with the holders

Quan what you don't realize is that no company business or whatever will ever let you drift on their property for fear that they may be sued if something bad happens. Those businesses have property insurance which I doubt covers deliberate wreckless driving(drifting). It's like a stock room of the store if you deliberately let someone in the back to do what ever they please then you waive your right to claim damages. Face it the only way you will be able to drift legally is to either pay a lot owner plus insurance or on a track. Free drifting will never happen legally.

it can happen and has happened its not hard just have to talk to the right people insurance i can get if i needed it but i dont , there places that if u talk to the owner they will let u and like some friends not a event juss some drift , if liability is placed on the drivers wich i can actually get writing and notarized by a lawyer and have signed waivers ,. beilive me iv done my research lol

It seems everytime we find a good spot to drift it is either overdrifted as in too many nights a week or it gets overcrouded. People you dont know always show up and slide when your not there, even during dailight hours with disregard for other cars or even if people see then. Its happened before. Thats why I try not to street drift when everyone goes out. You never know who has been out there the night before or before that and if the cops are waiting for you. Its a nice try but I predict failure. I know it shounds shitty but if you find a spot, keep it to yourself. people are too irresponsible.

im so happy you're my boyfriend! lol sorry ryan is right, its not really gonna happen! people get too crazy and because everyone wants to drift all the time(and thats completely fine!) but everyone is going to show up at places that they shouldnt be which could screw up the possibilities for people who are trying to drift with respect. let it go.

everyone knows the risk of sliding in the streets, its not legal and many people dont agree with it.. all in all i knew what could have happend and it did, it was my fault for going to the same spot and now im going to deal with it, it would be damn awesome to have a place we could drift without worry but it will not be FREE!! just as in sliding at 1 in the morning, IT WILL NOT BE FREE!!! but who cares just find another spot and take the risk if you really want to, or just wait until an event, which i plan on doing for a while... :P

So i had court today and the officer didnt show up so the prosecuter recomended that the judge dismiss all tickets cchaching im free bitches
