northeastern San Marcos, Texas. The course is very easily accessible, sitting approximately 2.5 miles east of IH-35, approximately 2 miles west of Texas Highway 21, and a little over 2.5 miles from the San Marcos airport.
26 miles from downtown Austin and approximately 55 miles from downtown San Antonio.
6,000 square foot clubhouse overlooking 150 acres of land with a very nice view of downtown San Marcos and Texas State University.
The track will be a 1.8-mile asphalt road course, 36-feet wide. The pit lane will consist of a 24-foot wide, 1/4-mile asphalt strip. The staging area will include the capacity for up to 60 cars -- including 30 covered parking spaces and 30 uncovered parking spaces. they are currently unless its has ben finished they was building a skid pad

Thanks for the post, and very pleased to meet you guys at yesterday's meet.
Some information/clarification:
1- I do not work for Harris Hill Road but I am a member. Since I have been an instructor for various clubs (Porsche, Ferrari, Corvette, Mazda, and Audi) and have been an instructor for Summit Point Raceway, WV, I am helping them establish their training program and in making sure the track for setup for ultimate safety.
2- I asked about drifting at Harris Hill. They are open to it but I did not get a confirmation. Bo and Eric (the owners) are great guys and love and want to support all forms of motorsport. I am going there this Saturday. I will let them know that there is a drifter community in San Antonio comprised of very nice people who are very interested in using their facility. I will ask if they are willing to provide a demo day for us. Small chance but it does not hurt to ask.
3- Here is the link to Drift Nirvana, the drift series I started with Summit Point Raceway in WV: http://www.DriftNirvana.com.
I am looking forward to drifting with you. Please check http://www.SADrift.com and please reply to this post with answers to the above questions.
Here are my answers:
1- The fee for road course drifting on the east cost range from $125 to $200, depending on the facility. For Drift Nirvana, they charged $150 for a full day. Please note that they own the track. At that fee, they were not making money but also they were not loosing money. For the road course, they had to provide Medic, Flaggers, and a Wrecker.
2- I would love to have a tire changer.
Welcome to the forum! Thanks for clearing things up for some of us. If there are any resources you may need let us know. We can help. I have a tire changer aswell.

Wow, man .. wow.. Okay Alex. Hey I'm Jason I wasn't out at the meet, but I'm glad the other guys were there to meet you they had nothing but great things to say. Thanks for coming by and clearing up some of the misconstrued things that were being said. I'm glad that is straightened out.
I'm sorry it seems people have jumped the gun and taken a little bit of news and ran with it like the red coats were coming or something. That is really not the way things should or usually get handled, but sometimes someone gets a little over excited I guess.
Anyway, welcome to San Antonio and to Drift Texas. The staff here is Ryan, Matt and myself Jason and we'll do what we can to help you get your stuff going lending support where you need it. I'm glad someones come down here with experience under their belt and the ability to get the drifting community a place to do what they love in South Texas.

Thank you gentlmen,
killakingquan did not really misrepresent any info. He just conveyed what he was told. No problem with that at all. I just want to clarify my potision.
Now to the fun stuff, as a member of Harris Hill, I took my S13 to drift there today. What an awesome track for drifting. Hopefully we can all drift there soon. I do not want to promise anything since I am not the owner, but I will keep you posted.
Have a great weekend.

I missed few of last meets because it happenned that I was out of town on Thursdays. Last time I arrived to the meet very late and only Chris was there.
In any case, I am trying to have a drift event this July. There are a lot of paper work to take care off to get the insurance.
Stay tuned.

russell went up there and said that he drifted it and thought it was a pretty cool track , since the track is not open yet it will be a while b4 an event but they like the idea , he said they want to keep the sound level down , his exhaust which many of you know isnt the most quite so yea there sound concern was mainly the tires not the exaust so its still up in the air
yea, sound is going to be an issue. ALOT of our cars are not very quiet
