one question do all the sr motors us the same maf from factory? input please we need to know!!

i felt like doing some research on it too. it seems that there is more misinformation out there than there is actual information so no telling how accurate this is. i found this last night just randomly searching for any information i could find on it.

look at section #7 where they talk a little about the MAF. He mentions that the Z32 MAF has the same pinout as the s13 and s14 but the s14a and s15 use a different clip i want to know if anyone can fill us in as to why he said the s14a or at least why there is a difference.


oh and im going to try cleaning the element in the MAF first and see if we can get some better readings from it so it can be "drivable"

S13 and S14 use same MAF ,S15 does not , Z32 has to be wired in to be used .... touge factory sells an adaptor for it , very nice . i ordered mine from them ,..... ummm u can use the KAde MAF for S13 and S14 not sure about 15 Z32 MAF is alot more expensive ,., you can find SR MAF pretty cheap they used to be really expensive thats all i can think of for now ,,, back to work i will

If I remember correctly its the ka24E maf that needs to be used for the swap. That is what I'll be using for mine and that what many others use for theirs. The single cam maf isn't exactly tuned for SR specs but it still works. I'd let you try mine if I could get my diff back. The z32 and N60 maf will not work unless you get the ecu tuned or you run an SAFC.

the KAe does work but since its not set for the specs of the SR its not good to leave it , i have a KAde and am going z32 when my new ecu comes in

I think part of the problem is that his motor is from an S14A and they changed the MAF for that and the S15 I believe.

ops sorry i meant u can use the sohc and not the dohc juss get one of ryans MAF and plug it up then take the one from katies car , one will work , but if im not mistaken its the single that u use because they have 4 prong connectors and 3 prong and you cut the 4th off and it plugs up ,,,, if you notice mine is ziptied on because of the whole 4 th prong thing

the sohc is gone, no maf to test. i think matt already ordered a new one though. we will see how this goes...

Im bringing your diff with me to the meet tommorow night. Tested another maf tonight. Still having an issue, maf was ordered today.
