well, yeah bad valve, striped idler adjust pulley hole thing, and bad lower timing chain. yeah so thats why it was no workie. but ive changed my mind and im going sr. so hopefully in the next couple weeks ill have enough money.

corey was telling me about the place chris(300zx) got his. do you know if they have a web site?

and yeah i got the other cams in and i have the v2s in a box for ya, so if i can find a ride to the meet you can have them.

Yeah you sure can if you get up there. It's sad though seeing them toss those beautiful front ends to the side in order to pull a motor out. I'm sure they use them but still sad looking haha.

that depends on which motor you buy. i paid like 2800 shipped i think for my 98 s14 sr complete swap from them. just go up there with the amount you want to spend im sure you can get a sick ass motor set for the price youre looking for.

They will work with you. I think 300zx Chris got his SR for like $1700 with all the HKS goodies. That was MOTOR only though, no harness, ecu, tranny, ect....so it just depends on what you want. If you source your ecu, harness, and stuff seperately you can probably build your swap cheaper than most but it would take longer.....or just buy it all together there and hand pick it!

thats the best way...though it was nice having a clean notchback delieved to my doorstep lol with the price of gas and smokes and food...it was probably cheaper to just have it delievered

you really need to go there...Charles had his motor picked out and a truck pulled up full of them so he decided to check those out and ended up getting a different one.

there a good company but are shit for brains when it comes to engines . they have bad customer service but they can read and know wat a sr looks like , so ur good , but with them id go to them and pick your own

Ive heard theyre kinda bad with that stuff too, but when i called to complain about some shipping shit, they knew who i was and what i ordered and stuff, just like ordering anything online...buyer beware. best bet as always go get it yourself, both chris(300zx) and Chuckles Norris got great motors by doing so.

well tyler was telling me today about a similar company in clear lake, where i could get a motor for a couple hundred bucks less. i for got the name but im sure ya'll know what im talking about.
