Hey guys , I'm Noah,I'm 26. i currently live in Fort lauderdale FL. I'm going to be moving to the woodlands area just north of Houston. I Have a 88 turbo 2 that is apart right now getting a widebody,paint and ls1 swap. I'm hoping to have the swap done by the time i leave for Texas( late sept/early oct.) . i was wondering how often you guys have events?

Hey man, welcome, as for events theyre a little shaky right now, but should be fixing it self with time. regular events go on but they are usually in mineral wells, the ones in houston is off and on.

If you're ever in san antonio we have meets every tuesday and thursday night.

As far as events go...
Houston used to have one usually every month but they just announced last night they were no longer having those events, and now they're saying they are so thats a weird situation

Mineral Wells has pretty good/cheap events... talk to Aaron Losey for those and i believe they're every month too.

AND San Antonio is trying to start up events again so stay tuned!

welcome to the forum! that FC looks clean, keep us updated on it, widebody fc's are fucking sexy. yea, basically what everyone else said....min wells is good, little rough but badass fast courses and cheap entry, everyone nice out there. Houston is a little shaky right now but Im sure as big of a scene they have there SOMEONE will get events going again. Stay tuned for SA events, should be public by the end of the year and were hoping to have a series of practice/comp events for next season. yea hmp is goin towad there i think , i went drifting at hmp but me and my friends stay at the hilton garden inn/ airport and it seemed like northwest houston was like the rich people area lol

we went to a friends party off um i think main st or sumthin but there was alot of nice cars there too , but it was night b4 a event so alot of nice cars regardless lol

thanks man. haha yeah the woodlands is pretty nice , but im not rich.... my friend lives there and is letting me stay there for a few months till i get on my feet. yeah the swap is pricey but im pretty much breaking even on selling my Bridgeport setup . i needed something more reliable and i couldnt afford to build another motor in 6 months. so im going ls1 or 2 depending on what i can find.

you can get ls1/t56/harness in florida with 50k for 2700- 3300 . you just have to know the right people. see if you can remember that guy cuz thats a hell of a deal.
