San Antonio Drift Event

Next event planned for around 11/30 at Harris Hill. Date confirmed. $150 for NASA members, $175 for non members. It is $40 a year to become a NASA member, well worth it. Since our insurance is through NASA they charge us an aditional $25 a person for all non NASA members who participate in the drift events, so we have to pass that on to you. So...become a member! we need 20 drivers in order to have the event, , if we cant get 20 drivers the end of oct all money will be refunded

Just a quick question for RYAN.....
Okay I know my car will not be done for awhile. Is this Harris place the place where all of your events will be held? I am just curious about one thing. I was looing at the layout of the track you posted and I noticed (from the layout) that there was no skid pad. Is there a place for me to relearn everything. I mean I dont want to take on a full course not knowing what I am doing.. know what I mean. If not it is okay though. I just thought I would ask. I do know that jacob and I will try to go to the 11/30 event. He will be drifting of cou :Prse. I will sit on the sidelines and cheer each of you on... LOL

As of right now they dont have a skidpad. I think they have it in the plans but its not out there yet. It looks like most of the events are going to be here or on other rd courses. My best suggestion would be to drift the end of the turns, then the middle, then the whole thing until you can come in super early. We had some first time drifters out there last event and were planning on having some more this time and they did good. Even if you grip it on the faster stuff and drift where you can its alot of fun. Thats what the newbies were doing. EVERYONE went off course so dont get bummed if you or jacob do. Either way, I really hope yall get to make it, you wont be disappointed!

lol.. well it does sound like fun. I think though that I might search around or go to mineral wells events or something to get up to speed with knowing how to do a donut, 180 etc, etc.. but either way we will try to be there. It depends on jacobs job. it is that time of year for him to travel. I seriously cant wait to learn how to drift so I can out there and tear it up with all of you "cool people." lol
