Hello all, most probably already know me, but thought I'd introduce myself here...
I'm Ashley, originally from Houston, but living in Austin and going to school.
I got into drifting taking photos/videos for Daily Drifter for a year, then wanted to start drifting so I bought a 240 on Thanksgiving 2007. Around May/August of 2008 bought Aaron Losey's 400hp RB25 after some issues with the KA and my boyfriend (Ian) and I swapped it into the car. I took one auto tech class in highschool, everything else was learn as you go. Currently I'm just building the car up to be a good all around drifter and try to promote the sport as much as possible. Hope to compete in the future, but right now still playing in the baby pool at Mineral Wells :)
Summary:
I'm the media chick
I like drifting
Have a 400hp RB25 S13
...and some vids of the car

nah, lights are still up in the air. I'm going to use some small rectangle lights sleepy-eyed, but the IC piping is in the way on the passenger side. Still gotta work with it.
what you could do is go with something like the supermade housings. I was going to run my IC upside down like yours but my silvia lights got in the way so we mounted it like the picture above. I can imagine the popups being even worse to work with with the motors and all.

well, there aren't any motors anymore. We removed all the the pop-ups and even the mounting points. The metal light hoods will be welded in with tabs and the lights will just be attatched underneath with tabs too. I just got my hands on a body kit so once we mount that up we will have a better idea how to get my lights in there

M-Sports full kit + Brad's beat up 30mm rear overfenders (cheap, need fixin') and probably will pick up some damaged 30mm front wide fenders in a few days for cheap/free.
Cool, what color you gonna go with?

It was a sad day
Drove 5 hours to the Mineral Wells drift event this Sunday, pulled the car off the trailer and noticed my turbo wasn't spooling. Opened up the intercooler piping and intake to find an oil slick. The turbo looks to have blown the oil seal and welded itself together and it will cost $900-$1250 to rebuild. Looks like I will be selling my other car and gear to get another turbo
After I took the car out at the drift event and found no boost, opened up intercooler piping to find this :(
didn't have time to polish the body kit, but it came out nice, didn't get a chance to put on rear bumper. Needs to be lower...but this is as low as it can go and still get in my driveway...

gnarly
Looks really good. I would keep it about as high as it is to save the aero from getting trashed. Unless your on a slight incline in the last pic it looks like the back could go down a smidge.
Oh wow. Yeah back needs to go down.

its high like that cuz if they lower it if cant get in the driveway at there house , the car looked really good u need fn's up front ,
i think its high like that because of the size tires

after my blown turbo I've got other things to worry about, but yeah, it is def. too high. But like zaquan said, if I lower it I can't get it into my driveway, fail. I already have to take the front bumper off to get it in there.
I think the rear looks especially high because I have no rear bumper on it. If you look at it from the side it looks more level. I had fn01rc wheels on the front, but they were 4 lug and I traded 'em. I'll get some 5-lug fn's on the front as soon as I can get some more $

regardless of rear end height, your car looks badass. gl on the money front for the turbo and wheels.

Also got a tune! The last pull we settled on was conservative and rich:
330whp
305trq
1.5 bar of boost
Sunoco 104 octane race gas
NGK 7 heat range plugs gapped .016
On the Mustang dyno at Secret Services
Last pull printout. I think the highest pull of the day was 349hp, but that was before the tune was tweaked to how we wanted it.
And now for the crappy cam videos, still sounds awesome though:
