I just got back into San Antonio after a day or so out in Corpus. I decided to go out since I already had a hotel for the night and we did some touristy stuff and hit up the track to say Hey to Mike and Shawn. We're going to have a LOT of fun out at that place. It's gonna be great for sliding really fun fast circle track right now, but with some interest they're gonna put a bit of an S turn through the infield and give us a pretty sweet course to run on. I got to hang out there with Rachel for about an hour and watched a guy who didn't hear about the cancellation use the track. Very nice guys Shawn and Mike they met this dude from San Antonio and his family out there and let him throw his car around. The infield was a mess just from 1 car losing it a few times so I can see where they were coming from with all of us rolling around it'd of been trouble.

Get ready and spread the news because February 9th it'll be on. $25 for drivers and that's the rate he wants to keep it during the season which will be bi-weekly events in Corpus and Smoke Em Motorsports will do its best to be at each one in some form.

I'm going to the mineral wells event 'cause I can't make the one in corpus (the people who are adopting my fiance's baby are coming to meet us for the first time from 02-08 through 02-10)

ive had the same car for almost 3 years and the only damaga is the front bumper and ive ben to a hell of alot of events

ok i am ready to go play and learn this drifting thing..it is hard to practice on the street.i have a few extra wheels and tires to bring ..when are they doing this in corpus again??? i really could not find any dates/info on this site...hook me up with a link or some dates...

Corpus events are still TBA....check out the event schedule I have stickied. DD is Dailydrifter.com which most of the action goes on at Houston240sx.com now and FM is Fabricatedmotorsports.com. you might try corpusmotorsports.com or corpusracing.com for local stuff down there. Its probably not gonna happen down there considering they want us to show up b4 they pave more of the track and we want them to pave before we commit to showing up. everyone got kinda skitish after I put my car into the wall a few times that day. Def. not a place for a beginner...
