New guy in Houston

Just finally found this site, glad to be on board. I was trying to find a forum dedicated for drifting for some time now, its been hard to try and find out event info from other boards. Now I can keep current on event schedules and hopefully be able to attend.

Ive just sold my drift car last week, an s14 with ls1 swap, and now Im going to start preparing my 93 R1 for track time.

Look forward to seeing some cars, slidin' some corners, and learning what I can from here.

This is its current state, just pulled 980hp supercharged 306/c4, waiting on putting more docile 400hp 302/5speed then after paint, wheels it will look something like this..........

Actually Im down by League City, but Im a member of several national forums, so Houston is usually what I put by default. Bad habit, but its easier to reference for some people.

I usually work all the time (7/12s) so I was out of the loop on stuff going down.

Normally my car would be done already, but it was on the back burner when I had my 240. But It should be ready in couple of months. It already has full Tien coilovers, (and its an R1) so its mostly bolt on bling I have left.

Ben from san marcos has the gold s14 fs right now. Its basic but a nice car and seems reliable

No, my was a custom apline white, with digital snow camo sides. Kinda like mad mikes old rx7 colors.

Man I miss that car, especially since I heard today the new owner painted it flourescent green/orange with red graphics. Last I heard he was taking it down south towards Mexico. Feels like kicked in the balls by a clydesdale :'(
