Hey everybody,

Im Steve, Im 24, Ive just relocated from Scotland to Mesquite, Texas. I am in the process of moving so I still havnt got myself a drift toy yet and Im unsure if I can get my own cars through the paperwork required to be registered here.

I have a 700BHP R33 Skyline GTR built by Garage Saurus (My 1/4mile toy)

And I also have my 450Bhp Nissan Silvia (S14) which is my drift baby, although the engine is currently getting rebuild after conrod failure

I also have an old 1990 Mk 3 Toyota Supra that I picked up as a project, this has been put on hold due to the cost of relocation and rebuilding my SR20!!

So I hope to meet some of you guys at any events going on around Texas, is there much of a scene here?

I'll post up some pics later! ;D

well all of those cars are "legal" here in the states, even the R33 so unless there is some sort of weird exception then i think you should be alright

and welcome to the forums, what part of texas will you be moving to?

welcome! Yea, we have a decent scene here. Texas is big on drag racing so you should be able to find a 1/4 close by. We also have drift events EVERY month in Mineral Wells. Check the events section for the dates.

dude that ziptie makes me like the car a whole lot more. you gotta try and fit in around here and having a super rare and clean car is not the way to do it. you gotta drive a pos. anyway cars look good and welcome.
