its cuz the gtr is wickid sick and better than evo's and STIs. it has the advanced technology of doing so, the transmition in the gtr is actually in the rear by the differential, as opposed to being conected to the engine. evo's are front wheel drive biased anyways, the engines are sideways.

yeah the damn thing might as well just have a button that says "drift" push it and BAM! does the work for you, no sport in that. IMO its no better than a viper drifting. :-\

i didnt know the corvette did that too. it probly helps the weight balance out tremendously though. with the second drive shaft going to the front like that it can probly disengage real easily.
