As some of you may have noticed and some have acknowledged (thank you) I've been hard at work on Drift Texas over the past few days. I want to let you all know about our biggest new feature besides the complete makeover and software replacement of our forum.
Drift Texas now has its very own Facebook Application. Some of you have been using the very early version of the App to connect to Drift Texas. Well, it does more now and will continue to grow with suggestions from you guys and girls.
Features using Facebook Connect:
Notifications on Facebook when you get a new PM on Drift Texas
Notification on Facebook when a thread you're subscribed to gets a reply.
Ability to post that you've made a reply or new thread on your Facebook Wall.
Features on Facebook Application Page:
Top Stats - Will show an assortment of stats from the forum.
News - On the main page of the Facebook App
Coming Soon:
Ability to invite your friends on Facebook to install the Drift Texas App.
Picture Gallery - I'm thinking a weekly picture contest or members car gallery.
Driver Bios - I'll put up bios of drivers who want to get their name out a bit more.
Event Listings - Events will be posted on the Drift Texas App's Event board and most likely there will be a way to discuss the events on Facebook.
I'm always looking for more suggestions so please by all means PM me.
