I am selling my 1987 Porsche 924S out of dire need to support my racing habit.
This car is not what most people think, it is not a 924. This car has the engine, suspension, and tranny out of a 944, even the interior is the same. The only difference is a more streamline body and about 150lbs lighter. There were only about 9000 of these made.
I have owned this car for about 5 years and have done most of the work on it myself.
Mileage: Not sure, prolly about 115,000 the odometer quit when I first bought it and its at just under 99,000. It has never been on a trip out of corpus and I never really took it out that often.
Condition: Decent, thats as much as I can really say, it has a few problems but nothing to crazy to fix.
Aftermarket: Koni yellow shocks, Weltmeister springs, K and N air filter, thicker spark plug wires, 2.5" cheapo exhaust but it sounds mean, brand new sachs clutch, Weltmeister throttle cam. Dino steering wheel
New Parts: brakes, tires, a few hoses, and the entire Head was rebuilt, along with water pump, new hoses, oil cooler rebuild, distributor, and all new gaskets up top. Most of this work was done at Car-Zar with about 6800$ on in paper work that I have within the last 500 miles. CD player is new as well. Also at time of sale, gas tank will be full and I just changed the oil.
I only have one pick at this time but more will be posted in the next couple of days, along with the VIN number when I get home.
The car runs a little ruff but it is not driven very often. There is a little blow by on the third cylinder that is not a huge concern but will eventually need to be tended to. I am willing to trade but I am not really in need of more vehicles. The AC will blow cold at time of sale.
Price: 4750$ OBO
