in the middle of swapping in my lsd and we have 2 nuts stuck on the drive shaft. we have tried everything from heat to pb blaster to breaker bars. these have to be split or something and i do not have the capabilities. once these nuts are off the job will be done in minutes. any body who can help asap call 210-410-9377. im free till 3 today to work on it but if worse comes to worse i can do it tomorrow too.

or cut them off with a cut off wheel

when you say you tried breaker bars, did you try using your feet for leverage? ive had to do that many times for stuck bolts when i didn't have my impact handy

shiiiiiit ive nearly had that shit smashed with vise grips heated and used a 4 foot pole
nothing.. also tried hammering the pole nothing

well first off i hope u have it in gear to stop the DS from spining , that should be enough , and if the car iss off the ground get a wrench and breaker bar , ir a wrench and a mallet or sumthin

nope.. waiting on someone with a dremel... diff and everything is outta the car. but we are smart and know how to keep it from spinning.. i mean this is one of the easier things on my car yet its being a bitch cause 2 nuts.... i didnt the trannyswap flyweel swap and everything way faster

ps how did you keep a drive shaft from spinning while tryna bust the bolt loose with out it in gear

out of car just use something to wedge it and keep from spinning.. not hard at all. still at it.. running out of idea tho... money too.. i just cant wait for the first turn i do in this thing and slide that ass out.
