whats hpde , and can we drift?

It is High Performance Drivers Education (or High Performance Driving Event), basically lapping the track as fast as your car and skills allow you. It is not racing. Passing is allowed only in designated sections of the track to eliminate potential cars contact.

Can you drift? Not Intentionally. It is not a drift event and there are probably 12 other cars on the track at the same time. It is similar to Porsche, Corvette, and BMW club events, where there are several classroom instruction sessions (15-20 min) then you go out with an instructor to practice.
