so i just replaced my maf sensor hopeing to fix my car and its missfire problem, but it started getting worse lol. the check light stayed off for a bit but all of a sudden my car missfired and bogged for 2 or 3 seconds and the check engine light came on. i havnt checked the codes but the same thing happend befor and it was the knock sensor. doese the knock sensor cause missfireing if it is bad or does it just report if there is missfire and i have to find the problem elswere?

1. check wires 2. check spark plugs 3. check distributor 4. pull spark plugs, pressure test coolant and check for coolant in cylinders... gl

so knock sensor isnt the problm? i think i am running ritch. it seems like it is a spurattic fuel mixture issue

oh no! lol dude, its not the end of the world. Check your basics like Clarkbar said and look up how to check if the knock sensor is doing its job. Google is your friend jake :). If i had the time i would help ya out but, got waay too much goin on here at the shop. sry brah

hey dont wory gangster. i did a bit of reasearch and i just decided to order one up. it was like 33 bucks brand new on ebay. i think it will solve the el problemo. ill probly go buy some new spark plugs to for the hell of it. cuz i wouldnt doubt they are a little fouled out.
